February 8 we celebrated Remy’s 5th Birthday. Cannot believe he’s five already! I wanted to share the cake I made him because its super healthy and easy to prepare. If this inspires anyone to make one similar for their pups birthday, please tag us in your social media post- I’d love to see them!
Ingredients:
Raw ground meat of choice (I used bison as it was his birthday and I do not splurge on that on a regular basis)
Plain Greek Yogurt
Remy’s Kitchen Superfood Snacks (I used Bluebehrry+Coconut flavor but any of our flavors will work)
Fresh Blueberries
Step 1: Form raw meat into a ball and push into a ramekin to form a cake shape. Use a pastry of butter knife to help release meat from inside of ramekin so you can put on plate.
Step 2: Use pastry knife to frost cake with the Greek Yogurt. Put in freezer for 5 minutes to help the yogurt stiffen a bit so the decorations stick to it better.
Step 3: Pull out of freezer and decorate your cake! I used our Blueberry+Coconut Superfood Snacks and placed around bottom with fresh blueberries on top. Last year I sprinkled some of our Just Turkey Heart treats on top!
As you can see in the pics below, Remy sure enjoyed it!
